Target Deals 6/20 - 6/26

I'll link over to Collin at Hip2Save for this weeks Target deals. Hopefully things will calm down by next week and I'll get deals for you then!

Enjoy!

*I'm excited for the Sobe deal, I've got so many BOGO coupons so I'll essentially get them for free after the gift card!

Walgreens Deals 6/20 - 6/26

I'm just going to link over to Wild for Wags because I don't really have the time today to do these for you but here are some great deals for Walgreens this week HERE!

Enjoy!

My Walgreens Trip 6/20

So I'm trying to learn the 'drugstore game'. Since here in Wichita we only have Walgreens that's what I have to learn - how I wish we had a CVS! Anywho, I started last week by paying out of pocket for everything I got and earned some Register Rewards. I spent $34, saved $48 and earned $18 in RR. I did this in 2 transactions. I have very much learned that the more transactions you do with less in each transaction you'll save a LOT more, earn more RRs -get a lot more - and basically just need to pay tax out of pocket. It's a game for sure, of learning how to roll your RRs just right to spend just pennies! Here are some basic rules about Walgreens:

~ You can not have more coupons than the number of items in your transaction. This includes store coupons and RRs. For example, if you have a store coupon and a manufacturers coupon for one item you will need a filler item (go for the .50 candy) in order to use both coupons.

~ You can only earn 1 RR for each specific RR per transaction. For example this week when you buy a Gillette Proglide Razor you get a $5 RR at checkout. If you buy 2 razors, only 1 RR will print. So if you want 2, you must do 2 transactions to get 2 RRs.

~ You can not use an RR to pay for an item that would print out the same RR. That sounds so confusing but basically if you buy that Gillette Razor for example and earn your $5 RR, you can not turn around and buy another Gillette Razor and use that RR to pay for it. If you do, then another $5 RR will not print.

IF YOU'RE STILL CONFUSED AS I WAS FOR AWHILE THEN PLEASE GO HERE TO WILDFORWAGS.COM! SHE IS AWESOME ABOUT POSTING THE BEST DEALS EVERY WEEK AND EXPLAINS IT SO MUCH BETTER THAN I CAN! ALSO SHE DOES A DEAL SCENARIO EVERY WEEK SHOWING YOU WHAT TO BUY WHETHER YOU HAVE RRs TO SPEND OR NOT - VERY HELPFUL! Also she is doing a giveaway for $25 in RR to get you started on the drugstore game - so be sure to comment here for a chance to win!

SO yesterday I did 2 transactions and this is what I got:

Transaction #1

2 Old Spice Body Wash $4.49 each
2 Dial 4 Men Body Wash $5.99 each
2 Right Guard Deodorant $4.49 each
4 Old Spice Deodorant $5.49 each
1 Gilette Deodorant $5.49

Total before coupons: 57.39

I used 1 BOGO Old Spice Body Wash Q
The Dial Body Wash was on sale BOGO plus I used 2 Buy Dial Wash and Get Right Guard Deo Free
I used $2/1 Gillette Deo Q
I used 2 BOGO Old Spice Deo Q
I also used $14 in RR I earned the week before (2 $5 RR from the Gillette Proglide Razor RR and a $4 RR from Schick Razor)

I paid $12.32 and earned back $14.50 in RR ($10 RR for buying $25 of select Gillette/old spice products and a $4.50 RR for buying Old Spice Body Wash)

Transaction #2

*I wish I would have split this up into 2 transactions so I could have used my RRs better but I wasn't really thinking - like I said before - still learning!*

2 Old Spice Body Wash (I wasn't going to get more but it was going fast and free Body wash - is free body wash!) $4.49 each
3 John Frieda Root Awakening shampoos $5.99 each
1 Herbal Essence Shampoo $2.99
1 Rephresh Tampons $5.99
1 Huggies $10.49
1 Hallmark Card $1.99
1 Snickers bar (filler item) $.89

Total before Coupons: $49.30

I used 1 BOGO Old Spice Body Wash Q
I used 3 $3/1 John Frieda Q
I used 1 $1/1 Herbal Essence Q
I used 1 $1/1 Rephresh tampon Q
I used 1 Walgreens In Ad Q to make Huggies $8.99
+ I used 1 $3/1 Huggies Q
I also used a $4 RR from the week before (schick razor) and the $10 RR from the previous transaction

I paid $15.28 and earned $16.50 in RR ($4.50 for buying Old Spice Body Wash, $2 for buying Herbal Essence, $5 for buying John Frieda, $5 for buying Rephresh)

So for this week so far I've spent $27.60 and earned $31 in RR. My goal within 3 weeks is to only spend the tax on items and earn A LOT! Follow me and see if I can do it! And I hope you all have good luck shopping the Walgreens game too! Let me know how you do!

Another crazy week!

Wow! Maybe summer isn't the best time to kick off a blog lol! I promise I'll work on posting more great deals for all of you as well as ad matchups and my shopping trips! I've just been go-go-go these past few weeks and I'm hoping life will slow down a little bit now!

One thing I wanted to be sure to mention to everyone is one of my favorite sites to shop through - Ebates.com! I use ebates every time I make an online purchase. Whether it's for Diapers.com (enter this referral code MXXR2598 when you visit diapers.com and you'll get $10 off your first order!), Children's Place, Dell or even Shutterfly! You earn cash back on all your purchases and every quarter they'll send you a check or paypal the money you've earned! I just got my first check in the mail this past weekend for $14.45. I know it doesn't sound like much but that's extra money back in my pocket on things I was buying anyway! Sign up now and start earning while you shop today!
